The story begins from a poor village in the foothills of Jinyi, South Gyeongsang Province (Gyeongsangnam), where most people earn from hunting. The tiger is the main target of hunters, because it can generate a lot of money. Chun Man-duk is a hunter's most powerful and respected in the village, played by Choi Min-shik. He only stayed with the boy mere puppet named Suk Yi, while his wife, had a few years ago, was killed when he was attacked by the tiger in the forest. But since the last tiger poaching, Chun Man Duk no longer interested in hunting tigers.
